1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or otherwise using the Xenous forum ("the Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not register an account or use the Site.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under the age of majority in your country, you should only use the Site with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity that occurs under your account. Provide accurate information when registering, and let us know if you believe your account has been compromised. You may not create an account for the purpose of impersonating someone else, and one member may not maintain multiple accounts to evade moderation or manipulate votes/likes.

4. Community Rules

By using the Site, you agree not to:

• Post content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, threatening, or sexually explicit involving minors.
• Harass, bully, or deliberately target other members.
• Share other members' private information without their consent (doxxing).
• Spam, advertise unrelated services, or post malicious links/files.
• Cheat, exploit bugs, or use unauthorized third-party software on the MTA:SA servers linked to this community.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or to the Site's systems.

Staff members may warn, mute, suspend, or permanently ban any account that violates these rules, at their reasonable discretion, with or without prior notice.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you post (threads, replies, images, chat messages). By posting on the Site, you grant Xenous a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, store, and distribute that content as part of operating the forum. You are solely responsible for the content you post and confirm that you have the right to share it.

Staff members may edit, hide, move, or remove any content that violates these Terms or the community rules, for moderation purposes.

6. Intellectual Property

The Xenous name, logo, and site design are the property of Xenous and may not be copied or reused without permission. This does not affect your ownership of the content you personally create and post.

7. Third-Party Services

The Site relies on third-party services to operate, including Google reCAPTCHA (bot protection) and Cloudinary (image hosting). Your use of the Site is also subject to those providers' own terms where applicable.

8. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Site will be available at all times or free of errors. Xenous and its staff are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Site, content posted by other members, or downtime/data loss, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Site and request your account be closed at any time by contacting staff. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms. Significant changes will be announced on the forum.
