NITRO STOPPED WORKING
On a normal car, with nothing to do about it but reconnect
This was fixed back in October, and the fix was still there — dead. Changing map killed the check that puts nitro back, and nothing ever started it again. So it worked on the first map of a session and never again after that.
One map change was all it took, which is why it looked random.
GETTING OUT OF THE CAR IN TRAINING
Pressing F at the line, before the countdown, got CJ out and left him standing beside a car that was about to leave without him.
The key was being taken away correctly. Restarting the map handed it straight back.
Which is why the first run of a map was always fine and every one after it was not.
PLAYERS WITH NO FLAG
Some people showed a - instead of their country, seemingly at random.
It was whoever connected in the first seconds after a restart: the country database takes a moment to load, and anyone who arrived before it finished was marked unknown for the rest of their session. It asks again now instead of taking the first blank as the answer.
TEARS IN THE SPEEDO AND RADAR RINGS
Each ring was drawn as sixty short lines, and every joint between them showed. They are one image now, cut to shape by a shader — which is exactly what Saw asked for.
The speedo's fix turned out to have been written weeks ago and never once run: the shader file was not being sent to players, so it quietly fell back to the old drawing every time. The radar got the same treatment.

A SHARPER INTERFACE
Every rounded corner in the game came from one 64 pixel circle shrunk down to size. Same for the clock, the radar arrow, the map pins, the health heart, the podium trophies.
Each is drawn at its own size now. Fran called this one from the start.
19 marks in all. The scoreboard flags were being rendered four times larger than they are shown, which loses detail rather than keeping it — now two.
